It is more about your general level of fitness, Need to have good co-ordination and an alert, reasoning mind. Although no medical examinations are officially required to learn to paraglide. You must be able to run a bit for around 10-20 meters on take-off and landing and you could be walking 100-150 ft. up hills carrying a 10-15 kg rucksack full of paragliding equipment. If you suffer from any medical condition such as epilepsy, giddiness, heart condition, osteoporosis or diabetes you should ask for your Doctor’s advice before taking part in paragliding.

Paragliding is dependent on the weather conditions . Anyway, in the very unlikely event that you cannot fly because of bad weather, we will give you credit towards another course or tour in the future. If some tasks of a course are not completed, because of bad weather, it is possible to complete on a different day, until qualification. If a minimum of 3 days flying is not achieved, we will time credit up to a maximum of 3 days, to be taken to the school within 6 months of course commencement.

Bring walking boots (with ankle support), a sun hat, sun cream, sunglasses , a pair of sleepers or sandals and also a swimming costume. For students enrolled in a beginner's course, cotton hand gloves, a long sleeved t-shirt is a good idea for ground handling practice. Long pants will avoid scratches on your legs. Bring your own towels . Your personal medicines.Bring your reusable bottle and help reduce single-use plastic. We have good filtered water here and you can refill your bottle.

It’s not so much about how old you are, it’s more about how good your general level of fitness, health and mental state is. Other considerations to think about are things like your eyesight, any medical conditions you may have which may affect your ability to fly, your mental health and ability to make rational decisions etc. You need to be reasonably fit and able to run and jump around for sustained periods. You will need to be able to carry a 10-15 kg pack up hills. For take-off and landing you may need to run (sometimes quite quickly) for 10-20 metres or more whilst wearing a paragliding harness. Your eyesight needs to good enough so that you can see obstacles 100’s of feet away, and be able judge your height and approach, to land correctly.
WE HAVE TAUGHT STUDENT ABOVE 60 YEARS OLD AS WELL AS 60% PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSON TO FLY.
