LEARN TO FLY AND CONQUER THE SKY

pilot (1).png

Learn to soar the skies from the Pioneers of the Sport. Be a pilot’s pilot. We don’t just want you to learn to control equipment, but to think like a pilot. So you can take decisions on the fly. Pun Intended.

Paragliding in India hasn’t gotten the recognition that one would expect from a country this vast. But in the last 20 odd years, our personnel have not only represented India in Paragliding but racked up several Accolades on the way.

Our instructors aim to create competition level pilots to represent themselves and their country internationally. It all depends upon the passion you develop towards the sport. But if you have it, we’ll know.

Ground Training

  • Introduction to Canopy & Equipment

  • Forward/Alpine Launch Method

  • Ground Handling & Directional Control

Flight Training

  • Site Assessment

  • Small Hops

  • Maintaining Course and Launch Speed

THERE’S NOTHING LIKE YOUR FIRST TIME. YOU’LL TAKE OFF AS A STUDENT, AND LAND AS A PILOT.

ADVANCE TRAINING

THERMALLING COACHING

One of the best vehicles a soaring pilot can find is a thermal. These conveyances are like hot air balloons rising to the heavens. The only trouble is that they are invisible for the most part. The Birth of a Thermal, Thermal Triggering, Thermal Sources, Thermal Cycles, Ideal Thermal Conditions and Lift in the Thermal etc.

CROSS COUNTRY COACHING

When you fly near your home site, you can land whenever you want. But during cross country flight, you need to plan ahead. XC flying is an advanced skill, it requires a broad foundation of training and practice to be able to do it consistently. Once the skills of using thermals to gain altitude have been mastered, pilots can glide from one thermal to the next to go cross country weather it’s a flat land or mountains. XC flight encapsulates the true exhilaration of paragliding. There’s no quitting flying, once you start XC Flying.

SIV COURSES

SIV or Simulation d’Incident en Vol translates to the simulation of an incident in flight. This course is conducted over Water. The glider is deliberately destabilized and attempted to regain control. The student learns the limits of his/her wing and also the extent of their control over it. Reserve deployment is also practiced.

CONTACT FOR DATES OF ADVANCED TRAINING.

NOTE – PILOT MUST HAVE COMPLETED P3 + 50HRS AND MUST HAVE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT FOR ADVANCED TRAINING.
